Jeret Peterson: 1981 - 2011

Also in MJ's February 2010 issue was a profile/interview with Jeret Peterson, one of the world's most innovative freestyle skiers. It detailed his troubled past and desire to remake himself and rebound from his deep depression. A few months ago, he was found dead in his Utah house of an apparent suicide.

Sad tale of a wounded soul. Check it out HERE.

Vancouver Guide - More Info

I've already mentioned that I wanted to visit Vancouver. Also in MJ's February 2010 issue was a mini city-guide offering readers the best places to catch the games, eat, drink and enjoy the city.

White House State Dinners

Vanity Fair (June 2010) had a great piece on White House State Dinners featuring interviews with the living social secretaries from the last few administrations. Interesting insight into the priorities for certain presidents, the number of events hosted (and for whom) and how they're viewed today.

Who's Up for Vancouver?

I've always wanted to visit Vancouver (along with Seattle) and last year for the 2010 Olympics, lots of magazines had special features and travel stories talking up the locale and highlighting great things to do, see, eat, and explore.

Check out this Food & Wine Vancouver "Dine-a-Thon" feature HERE.
