Read this interesting article in NYMag about Pat LaFrieda Wholesale Meat Purveyors. They do custom blends and special orders providing the meat for some of the most high-profile restaurants in the city. Given the hamburger craze that's been taking over lately, he's kind of a big deal. A couple of his most famous clients include: Minetta Tavern (Black Label Burger), Shake Shack, Union Square Cafe and Kefi.
